“Get It Done Consulting has helped me mature tremendously both on and off the field. Coach Buck has continuously stood by my side to help me achieve my academic and athletic goals. I am so grateful for the support and guidance along the way and I know I would not be where I am without Coach Buck’s help.”

“Chris immediately helped our daughter understand that colleges are seeking balanced athletes, and while success on the field will get a “look,” classroom performance is a must for recruitment. Chris has helped transfer her dedication, work ethic, and enthusiasm from the lacrosse field into the classroom. She has achieved an 8 point jump in her overall average during the past 6 months. We are very confident that with Chris’ guidance Elizabeth will attain the highest grades, best field performance, and best directed “college campaign” possible. Chris’ calm, direct, and realistic assessment of strengths and weaknesses has translated into a noticeable improvement on the field. Many parents have commented, “Wow, she’s unbelievable. What is she doing?” …He has done a wonderful job of bringing our daughter to the next physical/mental level on the field and in the classroom. So, even if another blown out knee creeps into her future, the classroom conditioning he has taught her will be a lifelong gift.”
NATIONAL CHAMPION, LIGHTWEIGHT DIVISION, NORTH AMERICAN STRONGMAN
Chris Buck’s coaching led me to a national championship. He helped me to build my confidence and to believe in myself. I learned the importance of preparing to win, not just winning in itself. Working closely with him for 2 years gave me the tools I needed to become mentally prepared and mentally tough enough for all my contests. Chris has also shown me how to apply these tools to other aspects of my life, such as in my business.
I shall happily continue to rely on Chris’ help for as long as I’m competing and coaching others. If you’re an athlete, I highly recommend that you work with him, no matter your sport, no matter your level, no matter your age.

"Chris Buck coached our daughter for three years in high school. Her freshman year coach told her that she should not expect to play Division 1 lacrosse. However, under Chris’ guidance, she made the Arizona All-star team for three years, was named First Team All-American and Academic All-American her Junior year, and her senior year was named First Team All-State Midfielder of the Year and led the league in scoring. Chris has the knowledge of what is needed to mentor athletes to play college level sports and the charisma that makes it easy for his players to follow his lead on the path to success. He teaches how to “control the controllables” as a way to understand the mental and technical aspects of the game, and to reach a level of composure that optimizes performance. He encouraged her to join a national club lacrosse team, which eventually led her to accept the first Division 1 lacrosse scholarship offered to a girl from Arizona. And in case that wasn’t enough, Chris also provided career counseling and reminded her of the academic demands she would need to meet as a student-athlete. Through his mentoring, his athletes become better players on the field and better people off the field.”

"When I first started working with Coach Buck I had an imbalance. An imbalance between lacrosse and academics. I put all my efforts in lacrosse to better my game. Went hard in the gym, hard on the field, hard all the time. But for school, I never pushed myself. Never pushing to get better, more educated, and not motivated to succeed. After working with Coach Buck, I learned how to use my same work ethic that I had in lacrosse and implement that in academics. Once I started gearing my strong work ethic towards both lacrosse and academics, my success was unstoppable. Coach Buck helped me understand that the little things are the ingredients that will help me succeed. Just like in lacrosse, it's the little things that help me stand out. Ground balls, hustle, stick skills, speed. In school it was the little things like homework, mini quizzes, meeting with teachers. The same principle in my lacrosse game was used in school to help me do well. Work ethic."
PROFESSIONAL GOLFER, PGA CANADA
“Before working with Coach Buck, I was skeptical about the mental aspects of the golf game. I soon found out, however, that the mental side is far too important to overlook and realized that good mechanics can only get you so far. With Coach Buck’s help, I have succeeded in overcoming my fears on the golf course and have learned to control my mental state from tee to green. He has helped me build a solid foundation where improvement is now exponential. I am now confident, positive, and committed to every shot. I have thoroughly enjoyed working with Coach Buck. He is always positive, shares a passion for the game, and has brought my game to a whole new level.”

"I am loving this and have been seeing a whole new competitive edge for me. I have to say, I wasn't sure about this when my parents first brought it up, but I love it. I can't wait until two years from now when I am in college and can call you saying, 'I am getting A's and fighting for the first line.'"
“Ever since I started meeting with Coach Buck he instilled an amazing work ethic in me that I will carry with me throughout the remainder of my life. This work ethic has let me earn Honors every quarter of my Junior year. This new work ethic was the driving factor that helped me get looks from Division I and Division III schools. He made me understand what it is like to really push yourself to make yourself better in any area that you want to find success. He got me to do things athletically and academically that I would have never thought I was able to do. Not only did he better my chances at getting into a good school and play lacrosse at the collegiate level; but he taught me lessons that I will be able to use for the rest of my life.”
"Before working with Chris Buck our son knew that golf was a mental game but Chris was able to teach him the skills to stay calm and focused during the ups and downs of a 36 hole nationally ranked golf tournament. Chris is able to encourage him without overwhelming him with pressure to achieve. His calm rational approach ignites our son to be his best while helping him keep in perspective that achievement in sports is a journey to be enjoyed."
"I have seen such positive change in [my son] and his study habits! He has been spending a lot more time working on his homework and studying for tests and quizzes. He has told me that he doesn't want to let you down :) and I know he doesn't want to let himself down, either. I know he's been frustrated by some of the grades he's come home with, but he remains motivated and on task. He has such a desire to improve. He looks forward to your weekly meetings and really enjoys your time together. I have never been able to motivate him the way you have, and I am so grateful!! I am so pleased with how this is going!!! and I'm not surprised at all!!!!! Thank you for everything."
PARENT of GET IT DONE ALUM
"Thanks to you our son has found his inner motivation to succeed in high school, college and beyond. By far, you are the best coach he has ever had! I'm so glad we did not resort to tutors who invariably end up just doing the work themselves. Our only regret is that we did not discover Get it Done Consulting earlier. Thank goodness it's never too late to get on the right track."

CHESAPEAKE BAYHAWKS, MAJOR LEAGUE LACROSSE
“What Chris does with the goalie position is exceptional. The psychological side of the goalie position in my opinion is not talked about enough in our sport, and Chris has made a difficult subject easy for goalies of all ages to understand. He is a great teacher, speaker, coach, and now writer. Since I met Chris, I have used some of his techniques to win 2 MLL championships as the Chesapeake Bayhawks starting goaltender.”

“Working with Coach Buck and Get It Done consulting helped me both on and off the field achieving my goal of becoming a Division I student athlete, but also helped me excel once I fulfilled that goal. The guidance that I received from Coach Buck immediately helped me and continues to be something I draw from as I continue to work on the field and in the classroom. Without Coach Buck I wouldn't have grown nearly as much in all aspects of my life.”
HEAD COACH, BROWN UNIVERSITY MEN'S LACROSSE
“Lacrosse fans witnessed a more confident, explosive Brown Lacrosse team in 2016. The credit lies with the athletes. But who was behind the scenes, establishing a culture of emotional strength and powerful self-reliance? Chris Buck made an impact with both the men and the staff, making believers out of all of us in him and ourselves. I have said this before and I mean it: Chris was the real “Head” coach of the 2016 Brown Bears.”
